I liked the look of this shot, if I could have arranged a shoot with a horse Iβd want it to look something like this. It was an overcast day with a light wind blowing the horseβs mane. Often when I shoot horses they either just stare at me or go back to grazing, this horse seemed to be posing for me, and very dramatically at that.I chose the name because the horse seems to have a presence for the camera, you could say this horse has a lot of what I like to call charasma
Edit: The critique by CozyComfyCouch reminded me that there was an eerie feeling like a storm was coming. It was great to be there at that time and experience that feeling with the horses.

I love animals ans I luv horses too and this is horse species I've never seen...especially his legs are new for me

Yes that piece of junk bothers me as well. I didnβt even notice it when I composed the pic, I was likely too caught up in the moment. When I saw the pic I actually started to clone it out but quickly gave up because it was very tedious and I figured I put it up as is, pretty much unedited, other than to make it b & w. I may take a crack at getting rid of it now though, maybe over time, a few pixels a week.

Clydesdale horses are very strong and impressive and you really did capture their essence in this photo. I love it and hope to see more like these
