Sorry I haven't been around much, I had a near fatal car accident last winter that left me paralized. I've had a couple of operations and now I'm slowly relearning all my motor skills. I'm now walking again and hopefully I'll be drawing again soon...that's what I've missed the most.
I should be fully recovered in a couple more months

Thanks my friend! I hope one day I can draw with a pencil again. When the doctor told me I'd be paralized for life after the accident, my refusal to accept my fate and my drive to draw again has taken me a long way.
I'm walking again and soon I'll be drawing again....damn it's frustrating when your hands don't want to cooperate.

LOL!!! No, I didn't post it in my journal but I told a couple people and suddenly it seemed that everyone knew...lol
I was in a near fatal car accident just before x-mas and I was in a coma for 9 days and woke up paralized from the neck down...my 1st doctor told me there was nothing to be done as did my 2nd doctor...the 3rd doctor I talked to referred me to a 4th doctor who operated on me and even though it was a low % of success, it worked....that was back in March and it's been a long road since having to relearn all my motor skills....Actually, I'm surprising everyone with my rapid recovery...I'm walking...with difficulty but I'm thankful I can feel the pain...lol
I still don't have enough control to draw like I used to but it will come.
It's weird, even when the 1st doctor said there was no hope, I knew I'd be back on my feet one day, I never doubted it.
