Something simpler + test I did on Paint Tool Sai. Hey, remember when we heard about the book Thomas and the Beanstalk for the first time? Remember that some people thought the "golden engine" in the book's description was Lady (or Proteus)? Remember how wrong we were when the book came out? Because I remember.

I want to try to put the golden engine in my AU. I don't know how, but I want to try at least. Something interesting that I never talked about before, since this has been a secret since 2018, but I an idea of a story that takes place after the Legend of the Rainbow Engine story arc. One character that appears in this story is the golden engine (which in my AU, her real name is Lily), and she was supposed to be an important character in the story.

However, this story was created in 2018, and while the current version of that has remained the same since then,I recently started to question some elements about this story. One thing I started to question was whether I still like this version of it or not. Like, yeah,I still think certain concepts are interesting, and I like the characters I created for this story. But I see certain things, and I ask,"does that still make sense?"

That's why I'm reconsidering "redoing" this story. In "redo" I mean updating it to something better. At the moment I have some interesting ideas that may very well replace the old ideas, and that connect well with the other stories that I have in mind. One of those ideas that I have has to do with the golden engine. Honestly, I think I prefer this current idea more than the original idea I had for this character.
The scene above may even have a connection with this idea. Except for the shine part. I’m pretty sure she won’t shine like that on the AU. She is a golden engine. Not a 'shining' engine
