Bet Ben liked piggy back rides as a kid eh? high atop the crowds so he could everything that was going on at parades, amusement parks or just walking down the street ?
But anyhow, the textures, gradational greys, even sense of sun & breeze are electric & sweet in the sense of a perfect composition. Then of course there's his & your energy co-creating this moment..the observer being observed where the energies mingle & create their own impressions.
Beautiful & had to comeback to +fav it....

I really like you decision to make this a black and white photo. I fully agree. It gives him some belnding properties with the foliage. I like it alot. great grays. it could use some more contrast but i like it.

I love catching people in trees..I got a shot of a friend like that..He was giving me some bad ass expression and he was up in a tree..Reminded me of Johnny Depp..Anyway...Bautiful shot!

Great shot...I like the B/W look you added to it, and the expression on his face is entertaining. It makes me think of Tarzan looking curiously at a civilized man below.

can we say "tarzan" very cool angle on this. the light tented look is great. probally just the black and white but it somewhat looks blue. maybe im going blind. but great shot. like the free'd look and just over powering shot

I don't know how intentional the composition was, but its beautiful. The branches curve outward and oppose each other on either side of him as if he pushed up between them, but he also sort of blends in as though he has been a part of the scenery for ages. The soft silver hue is nice too, any more contrast (or less) would have rined the shot, in my opinion.
