Cover and poster design for the COMRADE HERO comic project by James Hansard.
Here's James' notes for what he envisioned for the project:
"The origin of Comrade Hero incorporates an Icarus-like survival theme.

In this case our hero, a Russian Cosmonaut, survives the destruction of the International Space Station, falls to Earth from Space and crash-lands near the Southern Pole of Inaccessibility in Antarctica.

My idea is for an art-deco inspired, propaganda themed movie poster that depicts a Russian Cosmonaut in his Orlan-MK Spacesuit (helmet on, golden visor down) walking towards or away from the Statue of Lenin at the Southern Pole of Inaccessibility in Antarctica."

I also re-designed James' COMRADE HERO logotype, making versions that were two-line and single line options.
