Powerful, and gives plenty of room for similarly tortured guys to make personal connections. To me, the angelic male figures represent the moral innocence of homoeroticism, which is horrifyingly juxtaposed by the nightmarish atmosphere. This internal confliction arises from the incongruity of the subject's individual cognitive reality and his social reality. Is the window, which forms a cross, his only escape? There never was anything to forgive.

This speaks to me. Great perspective, really gets the message across! I am in love with your paintings's mastery of color. The bright and warm colors are very reminiscent of Gil Elvgren and the like.

This is powerful, dude. Love the figure on the bed. I'm not gay but was also raised Catholic, and it made me feel so suffocated, so shameful. It's taken me a long time to recover from what Catholicism put me through, and I'm not fully recovered yet.

This is beautiful. It speaks to me emotionally. The main figure's position is very well thought out. It definitely says religion and suffering. Great work!
