hey there P.A.M. ...is this suppose to BE Renoux? I've just made a few of his Favs w/in the

last couple days! ...the Hands? well, when I saw the thumbnail it had the look of a fisheye lens!
and of course in that size U can't tell if it's a photo or drawing sometimes...then on the zoom...
it was so big that it is hard to get perspective(larger than screen) but the hands look fine!

...I would title this: ?< nice work Pavel ...

Beautiful.

It's nice to see that you did something different. Two hours, my, you did a great job! The eyes are a bit strange, though, but I noticed that only when I used the zoom. And her right thumb (though from the observer's view would be the left) is hmm...well, a bit weird, maybe because of the pastels, I don't know, it's hard to explain. But alas, what power do I have to criticize? None, whatsoever. I never got to work with pastels so I'd have to ask Ana, one of my classmates. However, I think the hands are very well drawn...but that'll be in August.
I think that you did something great at succeeding in transmiting the feeling that she yearns for something and is waiting for someone to give it to her. Maybe something she longs for, and that that is the reason why she's got her hands opened. Maybe, she's waiting, with patience, to receive something that she wants and that she knows she'll get in the end. Maybe, that could be called faith.
I think that as an artist, that's a great achievement. The ability to achieve that... just that alone puts you at a great advantage, at a great place. Because you not only draw very, very good but also succeed in expressing, in trasmiting feelings. That's one of the main purposes of art, don't you think?

What makes you so adept at drawing? Ah, that's a question with a quite lenghty answer. Yes, indeed, it is.

It was nice meeting you and also to get the chance to see you drawing and being able to witness your work. Good luck at college and wherever you go.

By the way, it's also great to see that as an artist, you try to improve by accepting and asking for all kind of criticism. Maybe some would think that you're being hard with yourself, maybe even perfectionist but in my humble opinion, as long as you're willing to accept and learn from other people, to grow as both a person and artist, I think you'll be more than successful. Of course, I don't mean that you should get obsessed with finding mistakes for that is not the purpose.

Well, that's all. Maybe I got too carried away. (And I think I wrote the word Maybe way too much)

Congratulations.

Goodbye.
