I missed out on the Demon's Soles Souls craze. Sucks Sony's shutting down the servers. They've left it up longer than they do for most titles though. This is a great tribute too. Beautiful.

The servers were suppose to be shut down years ago, but the fans spoke up, and they remained alive.

I'm actually aching for an "HD Remake" of this. Since the Souls team is also working on Dark Souls for Switch... I wouldn't mind getting my Demon's Souls there too... actually... I would buy this over Dark Souls any day!

anything can happen i suppose. the ps4 has garnered a larger audience much faster than the ps3 did, so atlus/sony may want to cater to that audience again on the ps4, with the beginning of Souls.

You're spot on! 
They could pick up Demon's Souls (since it is different universe from the Dark Souls one) and make sequels. But the director Hidetaka Miyazaki is more keen into making a sequel of Armored Core than following the Souls universe unless he is spoken into it by the higher-ups. So, no Bloodborne or DS for now.
