Wow, this is beautiful. Normally I'm not a fan of free verse (I find that all-too-often people simply take a few normal sentences and break them up randomly instead of making real poetry), but you've written this wonderfully and it's an original take on the idea.

Plaid? I like that. Its very original, and a very good use of symbolism in my opinion. And I have to say, you work wonderfully with the absense of a ryhme scheme. Some poets need that ryhme to keep the flow going, but you instead created this piece with alliterations and assonance. I appreciate the way you've done this, it gives he poem a stable structure, while not restricting it.
Nice piece, I'm so glad you shared~

I love this. It's a perfect explanation and comparison between a soul and a color. As well as being humorous, in a way.

I definitly agree that a human's nature cannot be pinned dwn and classified in a genre, be it good-bad, light-dark, ect. A moving poem with a lesson to be learned. Good job.

Thank you. I'm actually really, really thrilled that you got the message. It's hard for me to communicate it to the people around me, but then, I *just* wrote this so hopefully they'll find it and understand.

Dawg, messages like this are some of the hardest to get across to other people. I hate the whole good-bad juxtapostion.
