a silent ringing in my ear
you keep me returning without thinking
you keep me crying while I'm bleeding
laying in the midnight glow
amid the soundtracks
soundtracks of a different life
soundtracks of a lesser glow
I feel myself slightly sinking
it's like my brain has stopped it's thinking
and my heart beat slowes
laying in the midnight glow
and I hear you softly speaking
you call my name through a message written in the snow
amid the soundtracks
soundtracks of a painful time
soundtracks of a missing light
soundtracks that no one ever hears
the years of heart ache
and even as i close my eyes
I can see the message in the snow
written in shades of scarlet
no one knows
amid the soundtracks
that's where I choose to die
dreamdreaming of a sun lit sky
