OMG this took forever, but I kind of love it. Seshat and Osiris hunting rabbits at twilight. Might do some tweaking to the grass.

Story:
“You think you’re ready for this?” Lola asked, patting her half-brother on the back.

“Yeah, I do,” Joseph said, looking at Seshat with a smile. She was happy as ever.

Kathrine was nearby, one hand holding Osiris’ leash. “Do you think he’ll be okay running sans muzzle with Seshat? He’s so bad at resource guarding.”

“He likes Seshat,” Lola said, “He’s generally good with most of the girls. I trust him most with Seshat, though, I would say. They chase squirrels together all of the time. They’ve even played tug-of-war together before and he’s let her take crumbs from some of his treats.”

“What are we hunting again?” Joseph asked, giving Seshat a head scratch.

“Hare,” Lola and Kathrine said in unison, followed by an “Ah…” from Joseph.

Lola shouldered her gun. “Ready to head out?” Kathrine and Joseph nodded. Lola bent down to the dogs’ level. “Want to go find a bunny?” Both dogs’ tails started wagging and Seshat licked the woman’s face. “I think that’s a yes!”

They made their way to where the hunt would start as the light began to dim and the sky became streaked with orange. It was going to be a beautiful sunset.
