Description Art block is a tricky thing to overcome sometimes. I've been trying reallllly hard to draw this week and things are not going so well So this is the product of a quick 'just do it' exercise to try and get back into the swing of things I don't know if it's worked or not yet

It's just a quick drawing on black paper using Caran d'Ache Pablos and some Polys. There a little bit of white gel pen on there too.

I used this beautiful image as a reference [link] it's by who kindly gave me permission to draw from her gallery so long ago. I have more from her in the planning, she's brilliant!

I found my gel pen after months of seeing it gone. Anyways I really wanna use her refs but she doesn't seem to respond to notes that fast.

They go yellow and horrible after a bit of time, they're awful. The best one I've tried so far is the UniBall Signo, but it still sucks

oh ok, that's like the white charcoal pencils I have tried. They all look off white or yellow when applied. There is one girl on Deviant Art... I cannot remember her name, but she has some whitening tool that works amazing but I don't think she tells anyone what it is.

It really is I have so many things to do, but I just won't do commissions and gifts unless I'm on form I promise I've not forgotten your gift

Thats true. Commissions are given to us because the client trusts us and if we are not sure about it, its not a good thing.
And like I've told you before take your time with the gift. Just get back on track and start producing all those lovely artworks you present us with

Your a sweetheart for understanding ... your right, you need to feel right when drawing for someone else and I just won't do it otherwise ... it wouldn't be fair

Amazing quicky! I really love the use of colors and the blending to make her cheekbones pop. Her eyes seem to stare into your soul.

You're welcome! You and me both!! I actually brought my table out last night, cleaned it off well, and set my bright lamps up for drawing. So far my little contest has pushed me enough to do that! I think you should do another Livestream that I can actually attend! I'm off on the weekends now.
