This is my entry for The Talented Mr Ripley contest [link] hosted by *Mr-Ripley There are still a few days left to enter to anyone who loves the movie Anyone who has entered, loadsa luck

I didn't get as much detail in as I'd have liked on Jude and Gwyneth (sort of) but their heads each measure about 2" tall ... I have no one to blame but myself!

A4 Mellotex
Graphite (wooden, lead holder and mech)
Tortillion
Erasers
Blue Tac
Time: About 15-16 Hours

Oh boy, I can't remember commenting on this one? I'm so little on dA lately and even less commenting than before.
But I really like it!! The hair on the two in the background is especially great and I love the eye on Ripley. Your eyelashes are always so amazing!

Oh yaaay! This is looking fab! I especially like how you've shown the sun hitting matt damon's face so week. And great skin texture.
I dont know why but I feel jude's neck area feels a little odd but I dont blame you. The size is small.

Great as always, I'm stunned with the details of Matt's faces. His eye is the most realistic part of this drawing, what makes me go yay, because eyes are my fav thing to draw in the portrait Amazing job on his mouth as well.
Even though Gwyneth's and Jude's faces are small, they are recognizable and nicely done!

As was evident and although I knew it . When I see completed this work has been repeated once more . But this time when I fell, the cushion has burst and now I look for a thicker.

I realllly like the face in the foreground, it is so detailed and beautiful and and and... yeah I think you got what I mean
I also like how you contrasted the face with the background which is much lighter than the face... I like that

Oh wow, Paula, this is awesome! I just looked at your "RIPLEY Detail"... so that's how you achieve that texture! Circulism... that's a lot of work!! I love how you drew Tom's eye.
