Description Denver has been hit by tons of snow this year. as a result the artic animals at the denver zoo have been having a great time of it. the artic foxes were running around like pups. This is one of the better shots I got, there might be more of these coming soon.

He was very fluffy, and enjoying the nice cold winter which is more what he's used to than our summers.

Beautiful animal, this is! Great photography as well- it must have been hard to get so close without startling it or having it look at the camera.

well...a 300 mm lense helps helps getting closebut as for him sitting still you kindof just have to up the shutter speed and be good at following...

its hard to imagine a strong, built 17 year old melting at the face of one of these. hard to imagine, rare, but in this case, quite possibly my reaction upon looking at the serene face of the Arctic Fox. It reminds me of pictures I've seen of my uncles dog. The same kind of piercing eyes...
