Thanks Zara , I find bunkers are one of the most challenging objects to photograph. They are narrow, square, colorless, gray, dirty and dark. I am glad you like it.


I made a 3x2ev HDR using a fisheye lense and a video light as light source. To remove (most) of the fisheye distortion i used the lightroom plugin " fisheye hemi". 


This bunker is one of the many casemates to protect the Afsluitdijk (eng. Wiki). It is Dutch build in 1932. It is the only place in Europe where the ‘German Blitzkrieg’ advance was stopped. 225 Dutch soldiers knew how to hold back almost 17.000 Germans.
