Description Well a simple maze game. The scripting was easy, level building was hard.
Edit: No cheating, no going back to the start if you just happen to be in the wrong place. Hope you like the change.

good god. that last level must have taken me 10 1/2 second tries before I lasted a whole 2 seconds. Then another 10 until I could win. Great game!

There are ways you can fix this, 1 is to make the whole background a symbol and to add on(rollOut) and when that happens the screen will go red and you'll have to restart the level, or a better way would be to make the "Blockhead" symbol instead of a mouse cruiser it'll "chase" the mouse, as in you move your mouse and it'll follow, that'll be harder to code but much better...
A game like that I once made in PowerPoint...

You really shouldn't regress a level after each death, since sometimes previous levels have places you die instantly and regress further and further. Highly annoying.

Otherwise, it's a mouse avoider. Not particularly new or interesting.

It should ask you to place your mouse back to the beginning or make you invincible until you move back over to the beginning, during which you can't touch the end.

Mouse Avoiders are generally just... not very good to program in the first place. I won't say don't do one, but I wouldn't say they're a very popular genre.

the programing is the easiest, i do think it's a silly game type, but with over 100 views, even my physic engines that take a lot of scripting can't create a game so fast, and a response, for the tiniest amount of scripting. I think i got an idea, maybe a space holder for each, so if it moves back, its to something like the beginning, so you hit the enter at the right point. Sound good.

Can't argue with views. If people play it, they play it.

When I made a mouse avoider, I had an (S) at the beginning and an (E) at the end. If you missed, you had to scroll over the (S) to start again.

Hey I beat it. Another thing to avoid is having the block registered to the mouse the way you have it.

I was confused at why I sometimes could hit the wall without dying but other times as soon as I touched it I was a goner.

The block's registration point is the top left, and that is placed on the mouse.

The registration point should be centered. To do that you'd want to do;

block.x = mouseX - block.width / 2;
block.y = mouseY - block.height / 2;

It's much better to play now that I don't instantly regress 4 levels upon death.

as2 uses _'s

I was writing in as3.

I don't remember what the as2 is, but if you have any understand of the AS2 syntax you should be able to
translate it.

_x, _y, _mouseX, _mouseY, _width, _height.

Not sure if they're all that simple.

thanks again for your help, this was my first try at a maze game, and totally expected it to be much easy. Personally i hate these games, but the public love em, go figure, i love physic games, but the scripting sometimes kills my brain, anyway, thanks for helping me make it more playable, and a little secret, I've never finished it from beginning to end .
