Now for a "The Wardstone Chronicles" fanart!I was planning to make this piece since I've read the third book from this series. I just had to make this, I was dreaming about it already.
Well, I really like Thomas Ward/ Tom Ward. He is a very special character, it’s a amazing how he had grown along the history.
This was painted with aquarelle pencils, coffee and tea. Believe me. LOL

Well, it does not really follow the books.
Yet we can hope it can be a good movie, but not really related to the books.

I really wish I could get a detailed list of all the things they changed from the books.

Well, first of all, Tom Ward and Alice should be a little younger. They're about 13 years old (Alice, at least in appearance) on the beginning of the tales. This is just the first thing and it’s already a big change.
Second thing is that they don’t really make magic with explosions and all. They’re more like… magic is made of potions and enchantments, it’s not like they will fire beans everywhere.
Well, I still have to watch the movie to punctuate more things that they changed, but at least the ages are totally wrong. And the magic beans are not that accurate.
