I took a bunch of pictures the first night it snowed in Uitca this year (back in '07) which actually turned out to be a pretty epic series of images with a lot of painting potential. This was one of the images I liked, so I decided to paint it, clearly. Working more toward the idea I'm setting down with "Horizon" [link] and prior works like "Waiting for Light" [link] . I need to expand on this set of thinking, I think next year in NYC I'm going to get a lot of idea, and a lot of pictures.
