Description For sale in my Etsy Shop <3

Cute little flower made from the pages of one of my favourite books, fixed securely to an adjustable base. Measures approximately 6/8 of an inch - basically the width of the average index finger.

It was quite painful to make actually. I love my books, so it was quite upsetting to tear pages out. However, this was a book that, despite being one of my favourites, I knew I'd ever read again, and it is also a classic. These pages come from the beginning of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, 1883.
There may be a matching necklace to follow, but if you'd like one and I don't yet make one, just contact me and I'll be glad to make one for you, and reserve the listing.

This is a great gift for a book lover (or, in some respects, a book hater?) or a writer. It's covered in a thin layer of sealer, which makes it stronger than just flimsy paper, and while it is water resistant, I would advise to remove it if you're going to wash up/wash your hands, if it's raining and you, for some odd reason, refuse to put your hands in your pockets, or if you're going to be exposed to large quantities of water, like if your kids are playing in the paddling pool and you're out there with them.

Feel free to look around the rest of my shop! There may be other things you like, and also take a look at my blog for some recipes, free printables and craft ideas, along with near-weekly interviews with other people who sell their craft, and features of my favourite things on Etsy.
