Did a shoot for Sebastian's Ice Cream recently. They have really good ice cream! But unfortunately due to countless ice cream experiments.. I cannot look at another ice cream to save my life.This was a learning experience for me, since it's my first time to work with real ice cream. I did soft serve before with Red Mango.. but this was a totally different monster. Getting that perfect scoop took me days of practice. But in the end the client still opt for the messy shape that the C-scooper makes. Oh well. This shot won't be used, clean scoops and layouts is still my style after all.. so if some of you are planning to visit their shop, don't be surprised if you'll be seeing more messy and masculine scoops and layouts! hehe!

The shot's amazing because of its simplicity. It looks extremely appetizing but I do get why Sebastian's wanted the rougher scoops.
1.) it will translate to their final product better when their customers get it so they won't be put off.
2.) Rustic is in in the food world

It kind of makes sense right? Since Sebastian's is a heavy deadly awesome icecream. It might not be for anyone who wants to stay trim and healthy-clean. But I bet you were able to pull it off. :3
