Wow, lol, I feel like it's not THAT much improvement? Like, I didn't go from drawing stick figures to what I do now haha But I am happy with my improvement :3 I feel more confident in being able to draw something. I think my art's a lot neater now too.I dunno, looking through all those folders of shiz was so nostalgic haha I wish I could go back to those days sometimes X3
Apparently 2014 should be renamed to 'YEAR OF PUTTING BLUSH ON ALL THE THINGS'
EDIT: Figured I'd add some tips that have really helped me when drawing
At least the ones I remember XDD-The corner of a dog's mouth shouldn't go past its eye... (thank you to random FP person who told me this years ago)
-Try to think about the direction that fur goes (when shading, doing markings, etc)
-Complimentary colors when shading
-Vary line width for details
-Long smooth strokes for longer lines instead of lost of short ones (makes it look a LOT smoother/better)
-Light direction
I'm sure there are other things lol I'll put them here if I think about more :3
