Because I really am hahaI made a worgen hunter on my boyfriend's account. I learned that I would have to buy the original WOW game PLUS ALLLL of the past expansions just to be able to get up to the highest level
If I didn't I wouldn't be able to get past 60 I think.So yeah, playing for free for now hahaha
...my worgen has a bear pet named Yogi :3 I'm hopefully gonna get a wolf soon as soon as I find some. Irony hurhur

when i first made a worgen back in the day, I WAS SO ANGRY THEY HAD NO TAILS. i still am! it just feels... wrong..

Personally, I'm not bothered byΒ the lackΒ of tails, because... I played WoW long before worgen had become a playable race, and the model for worgen was a very unique, wolflike werewolf with huge arms who always ran on all fours and only stood up to walk or stand. That worgen model wore a piece of clothing on his/her hips that was easily mistaken for a tail when the creature would crouch down to run on all fours, so I kind of always learned to see worgen as creepy creatures that almost look like actual wolves, but with no tails and with brutally powerful arms and no tails. The tailnessness, to me, was always just another cool detail of these unique, creepyΒ werewolf-creatures. I guess the lack of tails reminded me of animals that are more powerful than wolves, like hyenas, which have really small tails etc., so it didn't look like the design was missing anything.
Then came the playable character models, that kind of completely altered the idea of the appearance of the worgen race. They replaced wolf ears with elf/Hollywood werewolf style ears and made the fur in their neck into a mixture of a mane and human hair. Those things barely even look like the original worgen we used to have in the game, if I only knew this version of them, I too would be pissed that they don't have tails, since, these current playable worgen lack the unique design of their old version, and therefore there's nothing to kind of... Replace the lack of tails. Because, for werewolves, they just don't look very unique anymore so for such a clichΓ© look you'd kinda also expectΒ them to have a tail. Idk it's hard to explain this feeling lol. I simply tolerate the lack of tails because I know worgen were never even supposed to have them, but I wouldn't mind if at least optional tails were added to them (likely never gonna happen tho).

Why would they have a tail ? The pre-cata worgen never had one, plus it would just look too furry.

Maybe they'll put tails in with the new models of Warlords of Draenor? I really hope they fix the female worgen model...

i agree with this but worgens are based on the french werewolves, which dont have tails
