I've been doing a few Linktober pieces on my breaks this year and this is the first one I finished. I was looking at some BOTW octorok references for an Octorok promt and then it hit me. What about a big Octorok disguised as an island?! I remembered some islands you get to visit on BOTW and how Big Octos exist in WW so I combined the two ideas and made something new with it.I made this by speed painting with different types of brushes and playing around with blending modes in Autodesk Sketchbook.
