Say what you want about Zexal (horrible), but 5d's was the best. It really did take an adult stance on the subject.

When I saw this a few years ago, I found that they were bold to change it up, but I got to admit the dwheels are pretty annoying.

i agree but it did end up causing the main card of my deck 2 come out so i don't complain much card wise but the story line really sucked same with zexal.

what makes it worse is the dwheel mechanics aren't used in the actual game,no speed spells for real players :C

I also have to disagree. It has good plot, good back-stories, great characters, great design, great ideas, lots of action and adventure, and it has heart. It has a lot of emotion too, not like the previous ones. Although the original was also great, this has a new jump start and its a great experience.

I watched the japanese version to start with, since I'm just geeky like that, and japanese is just plain sexy to listen to anyways. ^__^

^__^ I'm just starting. I'm getting a video from netflix that'll hopefully help me, and I'm working for some money to buy my first deck.
I've got fanfiction for all of the Yugioh series, but 5D's most visibly.
I was thinking that if I learn the game I can incorporate it into my writing. Maybe write an original story around the game and send it to Konami. X) I'm a big dreamer.

Thats the main one. I've got a Birth Trilogy going on for 5D's too that're sorts of sequels to the story I just gave you. Except no-ones been reviewing, so I haven't been as enthusiastic about figuring out how to make Crow's work.

It's just that reviews/feedback is the currency of the fanfiction world, and when no one reviews, you feel totally unloved and wonder what you did wrong.

A- sticking to the rules 'mostly. I don't expect the anime to be completely faithful to the rules, but I expect them to keep it tame' unlike others *cough*thousandeyesrestrict*cough*writersbullshattheirwayout*cough*FUCKYOUYUGI!
B- being free of filler at this point *cough*Wakingthedragons*cough*
And C- Not totally disappearing up its own ass, as of yet. *cough*Dawnoftheduel*cough*
