how the hell do you get the xenos to look so adorable? is there some sort of secret school on the 'adorablification' of big toothy creatures that can look sexy if you look at them the right way but should never look adorable? Tell me!!!

Good idea with the smooth tail. I draw the alien every once in a while, and I tend to shorten the tail, simply because drawing all the vertabrae is painful.
On an unrelated note, do you ever wonder if, by humanizing them so much, you take away a lot of the fear? Or is that the point?

Yeah, drawing all the vertebrae is a pain. Helra usually has them along with a ton of other details. but laziness prevailed and they never got drawn in.
In a way, yes. But all my xenos were created by scientists to be more human. It's complicated. ^^
