also, my brother decided he wants to write a "romance" novel about a mysterious, sexy detective and a lonely housewife who collects porcelain animals and "discovers herself" after tragedy strikes. He told me he's writing a "steamy romance novel" without the smut and I told him it's impossible. It started as a joke, but now I think he genuinely is enjoying writing this thing.
