amazing first part
wow i love , love you actually shaded with graphite and went over with watercolor!! i have to try that!

Yeah it is a really useful and time saving technique, Im gonna try it with graphitints one of these days. The only thing to remember when doing the WC over graphite is not to use your hands on the paper or it will get that wax resist effect.

I got a set of 12 graphitints the other day i have only used them dry just to see how they work and they are amazing especially when you apply water over them

Do they bleed like watercolor pencils? Im hoping NOT because I would LOVE to use them in this type of technique! If you have time tell me about how they handle. :-D

when i did a little try on them i layed down a couple of layers of color and then wet my brush and went over it and it didn't plead but then again i didn't add a lot of water so they may behave differently if lots of water is added also i noticed once the water touches the color it becomes more vibrant, in the pencil case i bought there were some illustration samples from various artists that did artworks with these pencils and i was amazed!! looked like watercolor paintings but with a smooth pencil finish look i loved it

*grins* I totally ordered the set off dickblick last nite! Thanks SO MUCH for the review. Now I feel confident about my purchase! Can't WAIT to use them! And I can't wait to see what YOU do with them oh goddess of graphite! *bows politely*
