I'm a sucker for nature - sometimes it just adds so much depth that I cannot comprehend where I should start.

The close-up of the roots gives this certain eerie feeling - I've seen "Sleepy Hollow" far too many times, so its just an opinion - while the leaves covering the ground, and the hue of grey adds a surprising contrast to the work.

Its stark, no doubt, but its a worthwhile stark - all of your works have this certain point of focus, and here its definitely the tree's roots.

They make you think about your origins, while also reminding you of home.
