I took the telephoto Argus C3 (the one on the right) out for a test drive last week. I had switched from the attached cold shoe shown in the picture to a clip-on cold shoe, which hold the viewfind with a lot less play. (The attached shoe works just fine with the 35mm lens.)

I tried it out both at infinity and close it. It makes a decent close-up lens at the minimum focal distance of about a meter, though I do need to compensate for the parallax at that distance. At infinity, the viewfinder mask is right on the money.

I'm liking this combination.
