Description Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein' has got to be the mose inane peice of literary work in existance. it's credibility is so friggin incredulous, that i laugh most of the time. why this is one of the greatest literary peices is beyond me. bottom line- by far the most retarded book EVER assigned to me. and that includes Great Expectation's and Julius Ceasar. least those novels don't have sentences that run on and on and on and on like there's no end. @_@ kill me now!!!!

how i woulda drawn Franky's bride. i dunno if she was afraid of fire like him and all, but if i were her and had that ugly peice of work coming after me all the time for some lovin', i'd keep some fire around me at ALL TIMES. (i kept her white streaks in her hair and she has the bandages around her body still)

her hair's a lil curly/frizzy too, just not standing all the way up. ah well i was bored as heck. god i hate this book.....

I liked the book. But I'm a huge Frankenstein fan so it worked for me.

Very cool piece of art here too.

If you can't get through Frankenstein, Moby Dick will be the death of you. I recommend SparkNotes.com for this situation. I, being a freak of nature, enjoy this work of Mary Shelly's, and find it rather interesting that it was inspired by a dream. I good commentary on man and his mortality, too. Again, however, this is my own strange taste.

Anyways, it is well done, and probably what she would look like in today's era. I know in the book she would more acurately be betrayed has having fried straight hair, but let's screw with the technical details and go with this style: it's cute! Nice detail on the eyes, too; it makes the picture more 'real', if you will, because she seemingly has on make-up. The thumb in front appears to small, but I see nothing else wrong with the hands. *plays with the fire* The bandages add to the portrayal of her character; it seems that being given life has already scared and given her a feeling of betrayal ('she was supposed to be dead, and the good doctor wouldn't let her be dead in peace' sorta-thing). As for the rest of the outfit, I really don't know what to say, other than it's definitely you; couldn't tell you what it says to me... especially the shoes... maybe "ouch", but that's it.

Anyways, good job, Pe!

Okay...I liked both Great Expectations AND Julius Caesar....Frankenstine was nifty too in my opinion. And I'm not liking the lack of gratuitous penis grabbing in this picture...But other than that it's pretty good.

despite your great dislike for the book this is a beautiful piece! ... I like the pose her clothes (especially her pants for some odd reason) ... but my favorite part of this piece is her hair ...

Hey hey... this is neat. Sorry you got stuck with such an obtuse book...

Unfortunately, this is one case where I can't REALLY comiserate... I read insanely fast, and I read at like a college level or something... like, high college level....
