Description At the end of this book, Nancy nearly gets crushed in a giant anchor chain, but Frank comes at the last second. Some chick and George get free first, but as the chain begins lurching upwards, Nancy's bonds slip away from Frank's knife, and she has to fight through the frayed rope herself. She's several feet off the floor before she finally gets free and falls into Frank's arms.

If you're curious about Frank's camera and the fact that Nancy's wearing a ball gown and SNEAKERS?, you should read to find out why the hell.

Is cute. Go read! Double Crossing by Carolyn Keene. =B

I've always found it interesting that they chose to include a scene where Frank had to rescue a tied-up Nancy from a deathtrap in the very first book of their crossover series. Kinda sets the tone for what's to come, I'd say.

I love this book! I love the whole series, really. This is one of my favorite scenes, too. Great job!

I loved that book. I persist in the fact that Frank and Nancy were made for each other forget Ned and whats-her-face (OK I remember her name, I am just ignoring that).

I'd read it if I could find it.

The only SuperMystery I've read is New Year's Evil, which is relatively calm in the terms of Frank/Nancy and tells me a lot about Quebec that I never knew. (Which is strange, as a French student in Ontario who knows plenty of people from Quebec/is part French-Canadian herself.) Nice to see them try though.
