So, about this artwork... Can't say I'm pleased about it.

First off, just to tell everyone. Yes, I'm aware of any and all mistakes made in the picture. There's a few reasons as to why the art in the end looks like it does (I didn't say they were good reasons):

1. I haven't drawn much of anything, either sketches or anything like this, in months. Only having returned to doing so just last week. As such, I'm rather rusty.

2. This is where it really starts to get messy (in both literal and figurative senses)- This was the first time I used my tablet for something like this. And I must say, it's harder than it looks. It's also the reason why the lines look all messy and unrefined. Drawing at an angle with a tablet (especially with a beginner like me) doesn't yield particularly good results in the end. Hence the whole "drawn in a rush" feel this thing gives off.

3. This took like three days to do (five, if I were to include all ideas and sketches for the picture I made beforehand). Had I started this a few weeks earlier, it probably wouldn't look the way that it does right now. I think the worst part (which is saying a lot) are the arms. They look blegh and if I were to go back and fix anything in this picture, those would be top priority (the background and shading/coloring being tied for a close second. I seriously did the background in under an hour).

4. I wanted to do this all in pencil, but that ultimately never came to be aside from the idea sketches. In fact, the only thing I did in pencil was the car. The "Draw everything else through my tablet" idea didn't come until the last minute when I finished coloring the car. The colored outlines were also an idea I had along the way.

All and all, I consider this a learning experience. Not a good one, but I learned a few things in the end. Thing is, I need to learn more, and the only way I can is if you people come and tell me what I need to work on. Be honest and I'll take all suggestions to consideration.

I also chose the sandals seen in the bottom corner solely for drawing purposes (I needed to brush up on my feet).

TL;dr version: I don't like this piece of art I drew. I want your honest opinions so that way I can learn from this experience.

Okay? Good.
