Amazing and wonderful! So beautiful.

How do you get perfect dark gradients? Without noise...

DamienVassart In reply to oriontrail [2009-12-17 15:21:57 +0000 UTC]

Full frame sensor helps very well for that
It's much more sensitive to the light than APSc sensors

oriontrail In reply to DamienVassart [2009-12-17 16:08:44 +0000 UTC]

That's true.
Sometimes my ISO100 on Canon 500D (T1i) gives too much noise when I mess with layers and curves.

DamienVassart In reply to oriontrail [2009-12-17 18:41:29 +0000 UTC]

Yep, I experiment that too... the best I can do is to take 2 shots at 2 different exposures and then blend them in PS

pedroinacio In reply to oriontrail [2009-12-31 13:47:50 +0000 UTC]

Hi,
Well, on the shadow of the interior arch there was some noise, not much. On the water on the foreground wasn't noise at all. With PS I just burn a bit the foreground and dodge de sky and water. The "secret" is, when doing the capture, exposure to the right of the histogram but without burning the highlights.
