Description "The Dharmacakra (Sanskrit), "Wheel of Dharma" is an auspicious symbol representing a dharma (law) in Hinduism and the Buddha's teaching of the path to enlightenment.
The Dharmacakra symbol has the form of a wheel with eight or more spokes (sometimes 24 spokes representing the solar cycle). It is one of the oldest Hindu and Buddhist symbols, found in Indian art from the Vedic time and the time of the Buddhist king Aśoka, and used by all Buddhist nations ever since."
(from wikipedia)

In the centre there is a stylized swastika, around it there are lotus leaves (representing purity) and the eight direction refer to the Noble Eightfold Path. [link]

Scanned from book, CG coloring by me. Didn't use much colors, only two and some background texture. I wanted it pure and simple, coloring needed much concentration because of the many small parts. But it was useful, since doing this focused my mind on this, away from the problem that reappeared this Thursday after a one month break.

you do any mandalas?

mandala in sankskrit means 'magic circle' if im not mistaken and is found throughout a lot of religions including hinduism, taoism, buddhism and generally in all 'primal religions' (for lack of better word)

No I don't. I just scan these images from a book, and color them. So it's not that classic drawing thingie.
Although there are some mandalas in that book, so maybe some day I will color one
