Thanks~ Everyone has their own pace ^^ I encourage you to make a yearly redraw even though you feel like nothing has changed in your art, because you will most likely be surprised that you have indeed improved!

Same here! They really look good especially on landscapes! Your style reminds me of Marco Bucci on Youtube

Might be because I'm a big fan of him and his work haha! He's seriously the best teacher there is and definitely one of my favorite artists <3

I know right! I follow him as well along with Sinix and Proko, best teachers I’ve ever learned from in Youtube!

Yes, I follow them too! Totally agree, they are the best art teachers on youtube <3 I like Adam Duff too, he talks more about the mental side of being an artist and being a human in general I guess x)

Wow, this is insane progress!! Were you at an art school or did you teach yourself to get better this quickly?
By the way, I do think that your speed has doubled when you say that a 4h piece now takes 2h, it's not because you are lazy. The more practice someone has the faster they can do it. Once I also got a feedback from a friend saying "You can sketch a perfect picture in few minutes when it takes me hours to do the same!" and it was because I spend more time drawing than her.

Thanks! I do go to an art high school, but it is mostly focused on 3D and animation, so I don't learn much 2d art there unfortunately. I've mostly taught myself and learned a lot from an art teacher on youtube called Marco Bucci (seriously, go check him out. He has amazing art and is extremely good at teaching).
Hmm yes, that might be true It's like a runner, the more they practice; the faster they can run. And also, the more you know about art and know how to paint, the less time you have to spend on correcting mistakes in the process or stopping to figure out how a certain thing look like.

That's quite the nice improvement, especially with the last one. I really like natural her pose feels and how the light and colors make it feel much more harmonious and interesting :3
Keep up the good work^^

Your improvement terrifies me XD especially between 2016-2017. Unbelievable! I really like how you used so many colors during 2018. especially for the backgrounds. I can't wait for your 2019 work! ^^

Improvement combined with a major style change! I gave up lineart because of my lack of patience xD I really wonder how the 2019 one will look...

Oh wow, that's a LOT of improvement & some great inspiration for me! I'm just getting back into artistic drawing after too many years. I never kept my skills up so I'm having to re-learn everything & it's a steep learning curve. I feel like I'm back in 9th grade, LOL. On top of that I think I'm compounding my difficulty by going digital (Wacom Intuos tablet & Clip Studio Paint). My biggest goal of 2019 is to get my skill at least to what they were when I quit. Love your art, keep it up!

Yes, CSP was included with the purchase of the Wacom tablet, part of my reason for choosing it. CSP also was recommended by several people and it seems to be a popular choice of software for artists who draw manga/comics, which is a long range goal for this year as well. My biggest struggle right now is learning to draw digitally because I can't look at my hand as I draw. This even makes simple digitally tracing over my old pen line art on paper difficult.

Hehe yup, tre olika stilar har ja haft xD Anime - semi realism - realism. Tycker det är häftigt att se professionella anime artister, men själv har jag inget tålamod för lineart TvT;;;
