Description
After the Bitless Bridle I wanted to make some halters in traditional size. So I ordered wire, rings, etched RioRondo pieces and ribbon in four colours. This is the third halter I made, the most elaborate one.Nosepiece and crownpiece are made of soft fleece, the cheekpieces are padded with fleece. It has handcrafted, working pin buckles on both sides of the crownpiece and a little snap at the throatlash. The two-slotted Halter rings are from RioRondo.
The connecting piece between the chinpiece and the throatlash went a bit too short, I´m still struggling with this huge size...

I´m not sure about the colours... They match, but they´re so cold together with his grey coat - I like brown and green more for him.

you're welcome ; I agree brown and green earthy colors do complement him well but I like the blues too which is what my Irish is haltered in.
