"Dang bros, this theatre has introduced me to 2 new shows now! I've always heard of The Phantom Of The Opera, but I never listened to it before last month, and to put it frankly, I am HOOKED!" - Pega, the fool who wasted the perfect opener for this show in the last audition

Audition time! Time to make my case?

So...why Extinct as Captain Hook? I know what you're thinking, "Pega! Extinct is a sweetheart! Why in the world would he fit as a VILLAIN"? And to that, I say HARK! Extinct may be a gentle giant, but if there's anything magical about the theater, it's that you can surprise even yourself with who you can become! Captain Hook in the stage show is as much as a comedic relief as he is a villain, and Ex is perfect for comedy! Just a few examples of what casting Ex would allow:

-Ex gets to talk ALLLLLLLLLLLL ABOUT how he so desperately misses his hand, despite how much he has grown to love his hook...as a guy with no hands! Physical/Visual comedy is a gold mine here!

-Improv! Hook as a role addresses the audience and makes general lighthearted comments towards the crowd! And as we've seen from his role as Ben Weatherstaff, he is more than witty enough to keep up and keep the laugh's coming!

-Ex is quick on his feet and can react very fast, so imagine with me: Ex jumping into Smee's arms when the cursed Tik Tok Croc arrives! It may take some coordination on both actor's parts, but that can truly show how much Hook relies on his crew! Can't even run away on his own!

But wait, there's more! Ex is multitalented thanks to his experience with the MHP! He can sing! He can dance! He can already pick up things without fingers, picking things up with a hook is nothing! And let's not forget that he pull off the look of a scallywag super well with that face scruff of his!

Now, we have reasons why he'd be great as a comedic relief, but what about as an antagonist? Well, Hook is snappy when it comes to his crew, bossy and ungrateful! And trust me, Ex is WELL experienced in the ways of keeping people in line, just look at his brother! As much as he loves his twin, he's had to tell him off more than a couple of times when he lived in the tribe (out of love of course!). If Ex ever needs a reference, he can just imagine how dealing with his bothersome brother is, and he'll get snappy and rude right quick!

Optional Point: Now obviously Ex can work with anybody, that's a part of the job! But if Orland happens to keep his role as Smee , the two would compliment each other very well as a comedic duo! They've known each other for how long now? Even when acting, they'd have great chemistry on stage!
