At the Fringe in Edinburgh the street performers were my favorite, you've really captured the vibrance of that performance style, he looks amazing. great work!

thanks i think that street performing is amazing and that the people who do it live very interesting lives i ended up spending the week that the fringe was in town hanging out with them and learning about their lives

This is lovely... i love the angle and the edging, it creates a really interesting photograph. The only thing is that there seems to be a lack of white tones in this image, but i still love it!

Is that "real" vignetting on the corners? Or the lens or something?? Anywho, whatever it is, works well, its pretty much framed the circle and the guy with an oval shape, good going
And good choice for it being black and white, colour probably would of made it far too busy.

what was your reason for using the filter on the edge? it's strange - the way in which it forces my attention to the center is almost violent, and seems to devalue the focus with its exaggerated prominence.
i'm guessing he doesn't roll around in that thing? going over his fingers with that looks none too pleasant.

he does roll around in it but he's smart enough to know that that would hurt and flattens his hands it's actually very beautiful to watch and i like the way it looks and he appreciated it and that's good enough for me
