Description
This is the first of two details on Lost Land. The work is too big for the scanner. Well, I could scan it in three sections, but two is a pain to piece together at times. And I am wicked lazy today. So, I am uploading the details and running to the camera store to buy a full-size tripod. I have the most unsteady arms/hands anymore.

This is acrylic on framed Gesso board. The full size is 6" x 24". I am currently enamored with this format. I will buy more of it next week. Again, painting with knives here. Maybe a sponge here and there...can't remember.

Oh, a note on acrylic paint. I bought some Utrecht brand paint last week. It will probably be the only acrylic paint I use going forward. I like it that much. It is slow drying and has a great finish. I don't feel the need to add a final matte or gloss medium on top of it. Although I might out of habit.
