I really like the colors you got here, and the dimension you get using the pallet knife. I think you did a good job with the distribution of the colors in the sky, getting hints of colors in their opposites. The only thing is that since the sky and sea seem to be done with the pallet knife and have the dimension that goes with it, I feel like the sky has more dimension than the city in front of it. Though it's only really noticeable as it goes further up and the paint gets thicker. But overall its a bold and colorful piece. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for your in-depth comment. I appreciate your constructive criticism and your compliments. I see what you are saying about the contrast in dimension between the city and the sky. There was actually a reason in my mind for doing the painting that way, I wanted there to be a definite difference between the water, buildings & sky. I was afraid that if I were to put too much texture into the buildings that everything would blend together too much. Once again, thank you very much for the comment.
