Whoa. This is amazing, I really, really like the texture. A texture such as this would be hard to capture because the lighting is likely to cause ugly shadows, but this is perfect. I really enjoy the blue window as well. Awesome

Party on 25th August, I guess you mean the overall 800-year-jubilee-party-stuff that had one of it's climaxes on that weekend, and I've not been in town on that day
The picture isn't drawn, it is a manipulation, tonal values altered pretty extremely. Here is the original: [link]
The building is going to have to make room for another shopping mall that will be more than five times as big as the old Karstadt-building. Maybe you have also seen the "Altmarkt-Galerie", it will be about twice as big as this.
There have been petition against this new mall and to save the old building since it is architecurally valuable, but with no luck. Thats why I put a sad smiley in the description of the deviation.
