Description you may remember this one. It is now complete. It took me a while to create the environment because drawing all of the cubicles began to drive me insane, so I could only work on it in short sittings. I only put myself through that so I could truly feel what I want the viewer to feel. I have recently looked at painting as my next challenge. It will be a new world for me, but I have many ideas already sketched. My goal is to convert all of my finished illustrations into large scale paintings.....I want to start displaying, and it seems that large scale paintings catch the eyes of visitors. Hopefully the the art world will welcome my ideas.....I grow tired of walking through galleries where all that is hanging are portraits, fruitbowls, flowerpots and overpriced paint splashes which match the color of some rich person's couch. Time to bring something else to the table....wish me luck.

Yeah, drawing detail such as this would definately put me in with the cookoos.
Love the repetition in the cubicles.
The cord draws your eyes all over this picture.

Amazing. A call-centre nightmare, a telemarketer's horror!
I admire your patience for detail and perfect shading.
You did an amazing job at putting 'a feel' across, and it's a beautiful piece of work.
Nicely.
+ favourite, most certainly.

Good luck, you've got a great style going, and you are good at creating a dramatic feeling, really dynamic here. Keep up the good work.

ok is done!

this is a crazy work in all way you take it,and even if it will never have the feedback it deserve,be sure that you didn t waste your time here,i m used to crit a dev cause i belive it s the real help we can bring to someone, but here , except for the background where it goes till an infinite reproduction, cause as i understand that you won t redo this 20 times to full less than 3 millimeters,i think that you should put some kind of grey to make as if , and not letting those parts empty. but that s a very small detail and i know you re aware of it,so i will only tell you that it s a great work, and you do have to do some paintings of things like this, cause i dream of the day when i will see art like yours in a gallery and all those flowers in a jar into a garbage!

I don't know if I'm flying over the handlebars when I say this or not, but I think this is your best work. I am definately going to this. No doubt.

The detail is awesome and, yes I remember this. I do beleive I commented before. Insanely great, love it.

Good luck with painting, if you are half as good a painter as you are with a pencil we're in for one hell of a treat.

to start out : good luck.
second: it takes alot of effort to put in alot of background detail, and by the sounds of it this is a subsequent redo of an origanl image whitch takes even more effort / patience. when most people give up after an initial doodle or jsut a foreground character you made the background interesting and actually part of the immage. i can say that i am the type of person who tends to forget that backgrounds can make a picture two to three times better. enogh of backgrounnd! the image alone give me headspin, this guys seems traped in his own world and dosnt look like he has (or neds to) opened his mouth in a while, and of corde there is the feeling that the character is trapped being an obvious addition to the peice. in terms of skill, that is some exelent line work. you have a confident hand that seems to know what its doing, you must do alot ay... the shading and the highlights in the phone cord is also really really cool.
+fav for time spent, skill used and perseverence in a single drawing

I LOVE THIS

i think:
the compostiton has so much depth
the shading is first class
the style and expression on the face are both humorous and thought provoking
the detail and perspective in the back ground is mind boggling
i respect your patience

just great
