Wow!! What an amazingly exotic looking mermaid!  I just LOVE the look of her webbed fingers & the extra fins on her forearms & tail!!!  Her long sinuous tail looks fantastic!; nice job on the transition from her torso to her tail. She has a beautiful face & lovely hair, too. I sure hope you have plans on promoting her to your main gallery, should you choose to refine her looks & add color to this incredibly sexy aquatic beauty!!

you know, this comment just made consider actually painting her to promote her to my main gallery I'm actually looking for stuff I haven't painted and fish scales is one of those

Oh, that would be just fantastic if you do indeed paint this lovely mermaid!!  One thing I'd love to see, & that I'm quite sure you're capable of would be to make her webbed fingers look as realistic as possible!!  One example of such a look is this: sta.sh/01mgoaiqvvg2 where the webs blend seamlessly to the sides of the fingers. 
Woohoo...I'm excited to see her come to life!!
