By far one of the most emotional scenes in the whole game and definitely worth failing the mission for.

I wonder if there's a way to have Shepard be the only one who dies during the mission.... I hate the idea of getting everyone else killed.
But poor Joker, though. I mean, the man holds himself responsible for Shepard's death when he wouldn't leave Normandy I, and then this happens? No amount of therapy is going to make that better.

i know i dont have the heart to let my shepard die. that be like commiting suicide in real life for me. good job on this picture. i like how you captured the emotion in how the two are reacting.

This is definitely a very emotional scene, and I agree it's better than the possible good ones. It would have been nice if the "best" ending, where EVERYONE survives, was more epic and had SOME emotions in it, rather than Shepard walking through the damaged cargo bay and looking at 4 of his/her surviving squadmembers. I have beaten the game 17 or so times, in all of them EVERYONE survived. In a few of them, I let the crewmembers (Dr. Chakwas, Ken, Gabby, Kelly, etc) die. Before you start wailing, let me explain. I did this so I can see what will happen in ME 3. I usually save them all as well. In my last runthrough of the suicide mission (I wanted to play through LotSB with a game where Dr. Chakwas and the rest of the crew died, and going through that mission was the fastest way to do it) I was a bit of an ass and said "We can't afford to send anyone back with you" even though every single squadmember was alive and well.

That's amazing. Makes we want to cry and I feel bad for Joker. Watching his friend die two times by the Collectors. Joker's face is well drawn and I like how you just see Shepard's hand as he/she falls.

My record currently is losing two teammates and rescuing my crew.

do all Crew side missions get there personal and Normandy upgrades plus pick the right squad members for the jobs near the end

What I'm saying is that my record *worst* playthrough (my first playthrough) was losing 2 people (Tali at the first door, Jack at the second), but I got my crew in time. π: 0 β©: 1
You get your crew back alive if you jump to the Collector base directly after Legions loyalty mission is complete. If you do anything else during this time YOUR CREW WILL BE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE DERESOLUTION

oh its easy, don't upgrade anything from your normandy, and dont do any of the crew's loyalty, that should do it
In the final part where you face the reaper, don't leave any strong squad member (like Grunt, Garrus or Zaeed) behind, they actually survive, with or without loyalty.

nah i beat the game twice, mine all survived XD i couldnt let them die. I just went to see on youtube and that ending was so sad it was unbelievable. Poor Joker and ..well everyone xD

well, there's a lot of possible way XD you don't upgrade the normandy, you don't do any loyaty quests and you assign the wrong member on each task XD I purposely let my crew die to see the ending
