I know people probably always ask you this but when you draw, do you normally use a ref or straight off the top of the dome?!

It depends. My web comics are purely original. Little prep, little script work. Mostly straihgt off the dome! Sketches and finished pieces can be either or. Recently I've been studying my favorite artist to nail a style or feeling , if you will, when I draw my original characters and fan arts. Thanx for the inquiry!
