Mean older sister Hela bullying her brothers.I'm sorry, I'm having too much fun with this XD
I think this is better designed than the previous one.
ps: I'll be watching Justice League tomorrow hopefully, if nothing comes up, and then I'll be doing more JL fan arts. Right now I'm still geeking about Ragnarok

Wish they didn't make her look and act like Loki, especially since he's supposed to be adopted. It just seems weird to me. She definitely doesn't look like Frigga's daughter.

Um...she looks like that in the comic books, which came waaaay before the movies. So they made her look like she's supposed to in the Marvel universe. She's looked like that since the '60s, actually. Her and Loki DO look the same in some of the comics, as far as the green and black coloring goes. But then again, Loki's coloring was green and yellow in the older comics, so they both looked totally different back then. Only in recent years has Loki changed to black and green. In other words, they made Loki look like Hela. And I can honestly say they got Hela spot-on in the movie, which I'm very pleased with (it makes Ragnarok feel even more like the comic books). She does act like Loki to a certain extent, even in the comics, only far more evil and twisted. But in the comics, it's never really brought out where she came from, except for in certain continuities where she truly IS Loki's daughter like in the actual myth (the reason she acts like him). But that isn't always the case in every story. So them making her their sister in the movie works well and is a new, refreshing twist on the character. I actually like that they did that since Loki, in the movies, is a lot younger than he normally is in most of the comics. I can easily see him being single and a virgin in the MCU. So it makes sense that they changed Hela's role and relation to them. Before the movie came out, there were rumors that she could be Loki's birth mother, which I feel could have worked well, too.
As for Loki being adopted. I don't see how that's a problem or makes it weird. People can have similar personality traits and mannerisms and not be related to each other by blood. Nothing weird there. Adopted children can pick up and develop habits and mannerisms from their adopted parents the same as biological children. Loki learned his magic and trickery from Frigga, who is a trickster herself, and she isn't his real mother. If you watch closely, he also exhibits a lot of her mannerisms, too, which means he spent a lot of time with her growing up. So in a sense, Frigga, Loki, and Hela are ALL similar in ways, which might point to Hela learning some of hers from Frigga back in the day. That is, if Frigga is even her birth mother. My personal theory is that she isn't Frigga's daughter. Odin might have had her by another wife way before he married Frigga (his first wife died or something). The reason I say this is because Frigga never acted like she was aware of Hela's existence, unless she was just really good about keeping that secret. So it might have been something only Odin knew of. Who knows?

I agree with you. Hela in Norse mythology is the daughter of Loki. I think in the comics, Hela is just the Goddess of Death and isn't related to Loki or Thor in any way. Like you said, this version of the character makes sense in the MCU, and they created an interesting and fun character.

In some of the comic continuities, she actually IS Loki’s daughter like in mythology. Just depends on what series it is. If I'm not mistaken, I think she was this in some of the older comics. But in others (the ones I’ve read) it implies that she’s just an ancient being like Odin who’s a lot older than Thor and Loki. Like you said, just the Goddess of Death who isn't related to them. Her background is a mystery. So I feel she can easily be taken and given whatever background you want if it’s the latter version. Marvel’s universe is so vast and has a number of different variations to its stories, so practically anything can go and it'd make sense, even Hela being Odin's sister. The MCU is a unique universe all its own, anyway, so it’s to be expected that things are going to be a little different.
However, with her being Thor and Loki's sister now, I DO have a lot of questions about things. Like, who is Hela's birth mother supposed to be? Frigga? Or was there a wife Odin had before Frigga? (Can't remember if it said anything about this in the movie.)
