I need to know two things now:

Why isn't Disney still making hand-drawn films, and why haven't you tried to get hired there?

I don't know, probably because CGI animations are faster and easier to do then 2d drawing animations.
And Uh, I'm only professional in comics, but still a student of animation.
Guess that Disney doesn't really get students to work for them, not now as much as they did in the past tbh.

Oh, cool.

Yeah, easier, faster, cheaper, and in my opinion, slightly less appealing. There's something to be said for 2D animation; it takes more effort to fine-tune it, but the results are almost always incredibly beautiful. There's a certain"wow" factor in
It that CGI lacks.

I feel really nostalgic about 2d hand drawn animations, expecially Don Bluth's movies.

Umh, maybe my fav movie from Don Bluth is 4 dinosaurs at new york. I always liked the dark touch in that movie.

I never saw that one.

Actually, I think the majority of his movies had that dark touch. He was definitely a much bolder film-maker than anyone at Disney is.

Hic! Hic! Hic!

It's a cute little animation ^^ Could you please what software did you use to do that?

Thank you.
I use Paint Tool SAI to draw the frames, then you should use Toon Boom to put the frames together, but unfortunantly I can just use Animation shop pro.

Oh I see. I also tried to animate in SAI but it would be easier if this software contained an animation timeline or something

Well, you may use PS then

I may, but I'm not very fond of how PS deals with tablet pen pressure

Yeah, PS doesn't have a stabilizer, with is very good to draw smooth lines.
