Oh noes! Poor Shane.You have to know: Fairies are definitivly not good creatures in Irish legends. They can be very touchy and does not like when Humans accross their territory. They can attack you or enchant you to take you to their dimention and you won't came back, never ever.

Yep, I have read many Irish legends too, and yes, they are nothing like faeries from Disney. XD Far meaner usually.
Have you ever seen faerie artwork from Brian Froud? His work is incredible. I have a few of his books, which tell of the different types of faeries and are filled with legends.
