for the Battle Extraveganza!!this was definitely love/hate, what with trying a different background style, but i am satisfied with how this turned out after wanting to chuck it out of a window. i have my fellow Spectacular mates to thank for getting me through this. i love them dearly. <333 you guys are the best part of being part of BFOI.
for the battle, i decided that instead of doing a simple Pokemon battle, that Cori and Cat were going to have a full out fight, each armed with their respective weapons; Cori with her trademark cane and Cat with her trusty bottle of booze. their poor Pokemon are so confused.
so, what caused the normally gentle Cori to flip her shit? she just learned that Cat is sleeping with her((Cori's)) cousin and let's just say that knowing Cat, Cori has the right to be worried for Clover's sake.

This is really amazing, you're always using such dynamic poses, it really makes it look amazing! Cori's expression killed me xD I love the coat and the details, the ribbon in the back is very pretty, and your lines are so clean, how you make such clean lines 8U
Cat looks amazing as well, I love her serious look, so badass~ Her boots look amazing, it must have been tough working with her pose! And I don't think you've seen the movie Clerks 2 but Cat's booze bottle reminded me of a scene when one of the characters argues that his grandmother wasn't a racist despite things she said being incredibly racist, but a broken beer bottle was called a knife and I was reminded of that :'D;;;
Also, Cat's hair with those blue streaks looks lovely~
Those pokes look so derp and adorable, though, I just wanna cuddy them forever <3 You even drew Ampharos in a way I can admit is cute (Ampharos' design as a whole just makes me sad since I adore the fluffy wooly Mareep and Flaafy).

thank you very much, i was quite happy that i was able to use both these poses. i just loved how insanely actiony they were and i needed to use them for the girls. Cori's face was inspired by Judith, of course, because Judith is awesome and is the master of the >8C face. i adore Cori's coat and want it for myself. and i love that the TS outfits can be unique to the charrie. as for the lines, i credit Sai's pen tool for all of the cleanness. the rest is just stubbornness.
i really wanted to show how pretty Cat is, and yes, her pose was insane, especially with the clothes over top. XD i am glad that the bottle brought you happiness. Cat needed a weapon, so i had to use the bottle because Cat is a boozer and it made the most sense.
i love her blue streaks. it just adds yet another beautiful clash between her and Clover, who tends to dress in pink.
i am ridiculously proud of my Ampharos. indeed, the loss of fluff is sad, but i still like its design in general.
