Olympia had once been one of the top contenders in the MMWL, in her earlier years she wrestled under the name Goddess Olympia and wore a tight Greek style yoga and lace up boots. But an injury had taken her out of the league and she took a year to recover. Upon her return, she was mortified to discover that management was making her go back through the jobber circuit if she wanted her old place in the roster. She was just over 40 now, and she had to squeeze into that same simple blue or green leotard that all the jobber have to wear in the ring until they earn their stripes and can develop a persona. She was used to throwing these jobbers around, not being one.
She found a shiny blue leotard to squeeze into and a pair of shiny pantyhose and blue boots. She checked herself out in the mirror. She still had that muscle and that statuesque figure that had made her such a force in the league prior to her injury, but the leotard and boots, while admittedly sexy, took away some of her confidence. The other women wearing these suits were like half her age, she had a lot to prove and a lot to loose if these first few matches don’t go her way.
Her first match would be against Hit Parade. A bruiser from the south side of Chicago. Olympia knew the type, but wondered if she still had what it takes to tangle with these younger women.
